Does VROC require UEFi and disabled CSM?

Greetings

Does VROC require disabled CSM?

I have CSM enabled, because I can't enable it due to bug in BiOS/UEFi. This is Gigabyte X299 Gaming 9 running newest BiOS/UEFi [F6f] + 1 x AiC PCi-e Intel 750 1.2 TB + 2 x U.2 Inte 750 1.2 TB.

Please advise

Kind regards

Bryan

P.S.: Does VROC raid0 require dongle? Or is it free? [not raid1!]

Hello DarkAvenger,

Thank you for contacting Intel® VROC Support.

We are more than glad to provide you assistance in regards of the issue that you are experiencing. However, we would like to inform you that currently VROC is only supported on the following Intel Xeon® Processors:
  • Intel® Xeon® Skylake - W + Intel® C422 Series chipset
  • Intel® Xeon® processor E5/E7 v5 Skylake – SP + Intel® 620 Series chipset
At this time, there is no ETA in which VROC will be supported on X299 chipsets, but we recommend you to check the website for further updates.

Best regards,

Andres R.
