Flash card series 2, 10Mb - desperatly seeking driver !

Hi,

I recently rediscovered a 25 year old PCMCIA card of flash memory.

It's a Series2-10Mb flash card from Intel.

Does anyone know where I could find a driver for W95, W98, XP, 7... to read it ?

There may be old family photos on it !

If it's a really old 12v card most pcmcia things within the last couple of decades and more only go 5v and 3.3v.

Use the Cardware 7 free trial for 15 days on xp, 2000 or server 2003 and it boots after bios on startup in cardware mode if selected that gives you 12v capability somehow. Just did it for my old card on HP desktop with pci riser and saved all my files no worries. Still leaves stuff on card until you wish to erase and move on.

Go to Cardware 7 xp version page and look for trial copy tab top left.

It looks like yours is 12v

Hope this helps just found your post, going through a few headbangers myself.

Forgot to say mine was a Intel 2+ linear card 12v , yours is the version before it so a bit older. Most of the other programs don't cover 12v natively and need special older pc cards or readers and can make your card useless if used with the wrong pcmcia slot.
