Hi. Thanks for your response.  We build several automation products to support product testing and reverse logistics operations mainly in mobile communications area. Currently we use 3rd party products to connect and process. We now want to integrate communications means as part of main module and offer to customers. We like to integrate Thunderbolt 4 (JHL8540) and Thunderbolt 5 (JHL9580).. That is why.

Hello chilo,

Before I proceed with this review, may I inquire whether this product will be utilized for government or military applications?

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

HI,

On this project we are not planning for government or military applications.

We are building test modules for communication modules. We intend to use it in the module or later build independent Hubs for the same industry.

Hello chilo,

Let me try to help you with that. It’s great to hear about the work you’re doing in developing hubs and test modules in the communications space. Regarding your request for datasheets on the Thunderbolt 4 (JHL8540) and Thunderbolt 5 (JHL9580) controllers, these technical documents are typically available only to Intel® Partner Alliance (IPA) members with the appropriate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place. This is to ensure sensitive design materials are shared securely.

To better assist you, may I ask a few clarifying questions:

  1. Have you already signed an NDA with Intel? Some technical datasheets require this step before access is granted.
  2. Are you working directly with an Intel Authorized Distributor or Design-In partner? They can often help streamline access to restricted documentation.

Best regards,

Hi Von,

Thank you for your detailed response and the helpful information.

Regarding your questions, we have not yet signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Intel, nor do we currently work with an Intel Authorized Distributor or Design-In partner.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could recommend an authorized distributor located near our office at 1250 W. Southlake Blvd, Southlake, TX 76092. Having a local contact would be very beneficial.

Additionally, please send us the necessary NDA documentation at your earliest convenience. We are prepared to review, sign, and return it promptly to facilitate access to the datasheets for the Thunderbolt 4 (JHL8540) and Thunderbolt 5 (JHL9580) controllers.
