Hi. Thanks for your response. We build several automation products to support product testing and reverse logistics operations mainly in mobile communications area. Currently we use 3rd party products to connect and process. We now want to integrate communications means as part of main module and offer to customers. We like to integrate Thunderbolt 4 (JHL8540) and Thunderbolt 5 (JHL9580).. That is why.

HI,
On this project we are not planning for government or military applications.
We are building test modules for communication modules. We intend to use it in the module or later build independent Hubs for the same industry.

Hello chilo,
Let me try to help you with that. It’s great to hear about the work you’re doing in developing hubs and test modules in the communications space. Regarding your request for datasheets on the Thunderbolt 4 (JHL8540) and Thunderbolt 5 (JHL9580) controllers, these technical documents are typically available only to Intel® Partner Alliance (IPA) members with the appropriate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place. This is to ensure sensitive design materials are shared securely.
To better assist you, may I ask a few clarifying questions:
- Have you already signed an NDA with Intel? Some technical datasheets require this step before access is granted.
- Are you working directly with an Intel Authorized Distributor or Design-In partner? They can often help streamline access to restricted documentation.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello chilo,
Thank you for the information. I understand you haven't established an NDA with Intel or partnered with an authorized distributor yet. I'll be happy to check on this and share an update once it's available.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.
