Thunderbolt 4 share

I have a desktop with an Asus Z790 pro-art creator wifi motherboard that has intel thunderbolt 4 pre-installed. I have another desktop with an Asrock z790 Nova wifi motherboard and recently purchased an Asrock thunderbolt 4 AIC card and installed it. I tried connecting the 2 pc's via certified thunderbolt 4 cable and thunderbolt share program but came across an error that states I don't have a thunderbolt license on either pc and the connection terminated. One reason I wanted thunderbolt 4 in both pc's was to be able to transfer large files easily between my work pc and personal pc. I'm not sure what to do so I was hoping someone could help point me in the right direction.

Hello PCB123,

Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.

At least one of the PCs or Thunderbolt devices that are connected to one of the PCs need to have a license. The application should be downloaded and installed on both computers in order to run this application.
