Hi, dabaitunaitang.
Thank you for posting in our Community. Please be informed that I can only support you in English. I have used a web translation tool to translate this response hence, there may be some inaccurate translation.
I see that there may indeed be a compatibility issue with the new notebook and the Thunderbolt connection. Could you please clarify the exact make and model of the two notebooks that are connected via Thunderbolt? This information will help me assess your system specifications and address any potential compatibility concerns.
Additionally, I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions for Thunderbolt, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable us to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue.
Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Von M.

Hi, dabaitunaitang.
Thank you for providing the details about the issue you're experiencing with Thunderbolt connectivity between your notebooks. I agree it might be a compatibility issue, especially considering the differences in how the Thunderbolt sharing software responds between your old and new notebooks.
I understand that you have an OEM laptop (Dell Mobile Workstation 7680). At this rate, It should be reported and handled by system manufacturers since we have tested other displays and Thunderbolt™ 3 adapters successfully. Computer manufacturers might have changed the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the driver software or software packaging.
You can visit our related link/article: Steps to connect devices that support Thunderbolt™.

Thunderbolt Share requires that either one of your PCs or one of your connected Thunderbolt devices be Thunderbolt Share licensed from the manufacturer. Thunderbolt Share "Licensed" is different from "Thunderbolt Certified".
There are many Thunderbolt 4 certified PCs and Thunderbolt 4 certified docks, monitors, etc.; however, in addition to being Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 5 certified, either one of your PCs or Thunderbolt Accessory (i.e. dock, monitor, etc.) must be Thunderbolt Share licensed.
OWC Go dock and Cable Matters have both released Thunderbolt 4 docks that are Thunderbolt Share licensed.
If you get one of those docks, then Thunderbolt Share SW will work for you.

Hello dabaitunaitang,
I would like to add to this conversation. According to @VonM's response, there might be a compatibility issue because each OEM configures its system differently. I also agree with @Lyle_W_Intel that a Hardware License is required to use Thunderbolt Share. For more information, please refer to the following articles on how to set up Thunderbolt™ Share and learn more about it.
