In general why is there such poor communication with thunderboltshare? I purchased a dock, but could not get screen sharing to work. I see some motherboards may be tbshare compatible, but nothing is clear. It is a nice idea IF it was real. So far it seems to be more sales and marketing of something that does not really exist in the real world.
I would like to know HOW I can determine what devices IF any are tbshare compatible. Some places say that all TB5 devices should be tbshare licensed, but that too is murky.
As an Intel share holder I am very disappointed by the totally incompeted communication with this product.
If you have any suggestions I would appreciate a response.

Hi CarlosBett,
Thank you for posting in the communities!
I'm sorry to hear that you're having troubles using our Thunderbolt Share. You could try following our article on how to setup Thunderbolt Share on your devices: Thunderbolt™ Share Application Setup.
To know if your device is compatible, look for new PCs or Thunderbolt™ accessories that are Thunderbolt™ Share enabled. If you are unsure if your PC or Accessory is Thunderbolt™ Share licensed, check with the manufacturer, as Thunderbolt™ Share will be listed as a supported feature for that specific model. Let me know if there will be improvement on the issue.

Hello Earl,
Sorry for the late reply. not always online while traveling.
I have seen that link before. The point I am trying to make is that as both a shareholder and consumer, the announcement of thunderbolt share was great. I may have been wrong, but the reason I was excited was because I typically travel with two laptops and it would have been great to share the second as a monitor as well as access files. When I get time I will look again and the videos of the announcements.
So I did purchase an OWC Thunderbolt GO and it clearly stated it was Thunderbolt compatible/licensed. It did have some options on accessing the other laptop, but no way to extend the screen. When contacting support the particular person did not know anything about non-Mac PCs. The more recently purchased a CableMatters Dock and the result is the same.
When you shop online there are not yet many devices that are licensed. Also there are no hubs that are licensed. Noting you can travel with.
The new LG Gram I bought with the newest core 2 processor is also not licensed.
The point. Intel goes out and markets thunderbolt share as some great thing. It is nearly a year later and having made an effort to use thunderbolt share I have not had much success. Maybe Intel should make an effort to improve the current state of this products availability and communicate more clearly what it can do. More subdued marketing until after the product is actually in the real world.
Please do let me know if there is a way to actually extend a screen between the 2 LG Gram laptops with Thunderbolt share. One with the core and the other with the newest core 2 processor.
Thanks
Carlos
