Not sure what you're talking about; there have been 4 package updates in the past 7 months.
If your internet connection is weak, this is more-likely an indication of an issue with your antenna, not anything with the card itself.

Oh come on! You mean that iDSA or Windows Update hasn't spoon fed you any updates automatically? Forget iDSA, and don't ever rely on Windows Update to provide these driver updates to you.

Go to the Intel Download Center and manually download and install the updates yourself. The updates can be downloaded here and here. Click on the blue boxes to download the actual update. Once downloaded, click on the files, one at a time, to run them.
