We have around 280 Units HP EliteBook 830 G9 which is Wi-Fi 6E Supported. We have also 6GHz supported Router / AP and the Router is broadcasting 6GHz. We can connect the 6GHz SSID with Apple Device. But We couldn't connect with HP EliteBook 830 G9 Device which have Intel AX211NGW.
We have taken few steps for client Device to resolve the case-
>Update BIOS & Driver (24.30.1) with Operating system Windows 11 25H2 (Build ID: 26200:8117).
>Change some settings form WLAN properties (Like- Set Preferred Band 6GHz, set 802.11ax)
For Router-
>Router is already broadcasting 6GHz, and we can conenct with other device.
>6 GHz channel width configured (20/40/80/160 MHz)
> 6GHz channel set such as 37 and 53.
>Change authentication to WPA3-Personal (or WPA3-Enterprise)
>Enable PMF (Protected Management Frames) Required
In this scenerio we need your help to resolve the case. Need proper clarification why this issue is happeing in HP EliteBook 830 G9 Device which have Intel AX211NGW card.

Based on HP’s official driver and BIOS documentation for the HP EliteBook 830 G9, 6 GHz support has been enabled progressively through BIOS updates and is dependent on region-specific regulatory approvals.
For example:
- BIOS version 01.10.00 Rev.A extends 6 GHz support to Thailand and Mexico.
- BIOS version 01.11.05 Rev.A further extends support to Singapore.

Hi Goutham,
We already raised the call to the OEM. We shared the scenario to the OEM on last day regarding the scenerio, extending 6GHz support by updating BIOS. They acknowledged us to work with their team to identify the issue. We also check the AP ( Cisco WLC 9800 + Catalyst 9166I), which is 6Ghz supported with aproval the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
In the meantime, could you please share if it has any regulatory domain issues with Intel AX211 module devices in BD? Is it possible to have a regulatory Domain issue with the WLAN card?
