I have an all wifi office with a few hundred clients. Its a controlled environment, whereby most (85%) of the users are on the same model laptop and driver. We are finding that users drop connection once or twice a day. I set up a Cisco 3700 access point in sniffer mode and capturing the frames with Wildpackets Omnipeek. Im pretty familiar with 802.11 and reading frames. When users report a disconnect I find the users laptop sent a deauth to the access point. This happens each time a user tells me they disconnected. Its not clear WHY the 7260 is sending the deauth.
I notice Intel just dropped a new driver for the 7260. 17.0.5.8. Can someone point me to the release notes ?
