Hi,
i got a new Laptop, MSI GP70 2PE with the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160. I have installed Win 7 pro 64bit, (Original!)
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 Driver
Driver Date: 18.06.2014
Driver Version: 17.0.5.8
The Router TL-WR1043ND newest FW (3.13.15 Build 140319 Rel.41339n) WPA
The Issue:
The Laptop disconnect the WLAN without reasons. The only way to get it back is the automatic Windows-troubleshooting, after this the connection will work for ~ 2 minutes. This happens in the last 2 hours approx 40 times!!11
There are 2 other WLAN Devices, iPhone and Android they work without problems when the Laptop lost the connection.
I tried too update the Driver with this Software: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24578 Intel® Download Center http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/24578/eng/Wireless_17.13.11_s64.exe&Lang=deu&Dwnldid=24578 Wireless_17.13.11_s64.exe & http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/24578/eng/Wireless_17.13.11_Ds64.exe&Lang=deu&Dwnldid=24578 Wireless_17.13.11_Ds64.exe doesnt work.
If i install this Driver there is no connection possible! i click on connect and windows just say "no connection possible"
I would need a tool where i can see the WLAN logs from the AC-3160 or something else....
could you please support your product!? Thank you

Check the security encryption settings in both the computer wireless profile and the router. Does it work if you use WPA2-AES (CCMP)? You may also test with no security at all just for troubleshooting purposes.
