AX200 Connection issue with Bluetooth when using Link to Windows no connection.

I am having Bluetooth issues, I can pair the card on two different PC. One is a desk top and second is laptop made by Dell. I also am using an Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3-5G phone. I am believing this may be a Bluetooth issue. I was unable to connect to the laptop and after installing the AX200 card, the Bluetooth could be lock on to 5.2 and not able to fall backward to 4.0.

I also notice there is no firmware listed in device manager, is there a firmware that should be listed?

Any help here would be greatly helpful.

Thanks

Frederick

Hello Frederick1

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In order to understand better this request and provide you with the proper information, could you please confirm the following details?

1- Please elaborate more on the exact "Bluetooth issue" and the exact behavior:

  • You said "AX200 Connection issue with Bluetooth when using Link to Windows no connection" and "I can pair the card on two different PC"; so is the problem that you cannot pair Bluetooth devices when using the Microsoft's Link to Windows* app on your phone?
  • Are you having issues pairing your phone or any other Bluetooth devices with your computer? (e.g.: keyboard/mouse, speakers, headsets, controllers, etc)
  • Or, are you using the Microsoft's Link to Windows* app on your phone and the Phone Link app* on your PC, and is this request regarding assistance due to problems with that Windows* feature? (Our understanding is that that feature works only over Wi-Fi networks or over Mobile data).

2- We noticed that you are referring to two computers (a Desktop PC, and a DELL* laptop). Are you having this problem on both computers? Do they both have an Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 card?

3- Is the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 the original wireless adapter that came pre-installed in your system(s) or did you install/add it on the computer(s)?

4- When you said, "there is no firmware listed in device manager, is there a firmware that should be listed?",

  • What firmware or component do you refer to?
  • Do you mean there are no Bluetooth entries in Device Manager?
  • Please provide a screenshot from Device Manager showing the section where "there is no firmware listed"

5- Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system:

  • Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
  • Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
  • Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.
  • To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
