Hi all,
Recently I have build my computer using an MSI tomahawk motherboard which is using an intel AX200 wireless card. It is a dual-boot system with both Windows and Linux Mint.
Since a month as I start in Wiidows, the card works fine.
The problem begins after rebooting into Linux, the card is not recognized. As I shut the sytem down then resetting the motherboard, booting back into Linux the card just works as normal.
It only comes when going from Windows to Linux, not the other way around.
Is Windows taking hostage of the card?
thanks in advance,
Sam

Sam,
I believe it is a shared responsibility of the motherboard and OS to properly initialize the devices every time the motherboard restarts the boot process. The first thing to check is if the motherboard has a firmware or BIOS upgrade.
What model AX200 do you have? And how do you have it installed?

Hi @Khun_Doug
By reading this post I started to think of Window's "fast start" feature. So I went ahead and disabled that **bleep** (when reading up on this topic I saw it's almost only useful if windows is booting from a HDD).
Now things are working as expected!
Thank for the help and the hint!
