AX200 speed under 1mbps

Hello i recently upgraded my network adapter from " 300Mbps - 802.11n Wireless PCI Card  " to "WIRELESS INTEL® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 2,400Mbps/5GHz, 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD + BT 5.0". and now my network speed is <1mbps download and <1mbps upload. 

i have tried doing a clean reinstall, update the drivers and check the wireless security settings

After changing it to 802.11n it improved greatly to 59mbps download and 13mbps upload. It did seem to be a compatibility issue with the router. Thanks for the help.
