BT_Win10_64_17.1.1529.1620.exe seems to work fine.
But with Wireless_Win10_64_18.12.4.exe - I get this error:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE"
If I reinstall the previous version, 17.1.1529.1620, then everything seems fine again.

Hi,
Summary:
Intel Wireless Bluetooth driver not working after updating driver:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE"
Cannot get Bluetooth settings from the search button in windows 10 anymore
Microsoft Bluetooth LE enumerator missing from device manager
I bought a Windows 10 system and my Bluetooth headset was not working with it. So, I restarted the Services-> Bluetooth support services and restarted my computer. I went to device Manager and could see Intel Wireless Bluetooth driver working with Microsoft Bluetooth LE enumerator showing up.
I updated the driver to the latest as per the Intel Driver update utility. I followed up with this thread and installed the driver as mentioned in this thread Installed https://downloadmirror.intel.com/25405/eng/BT_18.16.1_64_Win10.exe BT_18.16.1_64_Win10.exe and it still gave the error.
At least the old factory installed Bluetooth driver on the HP Envy machine was functioning but the new installed device driver is causing the issue. I have googled but cannot seem to find the old device driver with the factory installed HP ENvy that worked.
I had also started the Bluetooth Handsfree service under Services to get my bluetooth headphones to work but I have turned that off for now.
I have tried installing the following device driver updates:
18.40.0 3/10/16
18.16.1 - 3/30/16
18.16.1.64 -
TIA,
Vijay

VijayBalakrishnan:
Did you check if your adapter was present in the list "Only the following list of wireless adapters are supported:"? https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25840/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-for-Bluetooth-technology-for-Windows-10 Download Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth® technology for Windows® 10
What is the model of your device? Together we can search for different drivers to be tested with this.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Esteban, Intel,
I am at my wit's end. The bluetooth on my Intel AC-7265 is not working and I have the exact same problem as Sergio MT above where get this error on my Intel Wireless Bluetooth device properties:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE
I've tried all the methods you've mentioned previously, including the installation of the latesthttps://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26067/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-Software-for-Bluetooth-technology-for-Windows-10?v=t Intel bluetooth drivers . I've uninstalled the device several times, but it comes back with the same error. I've restarted my PC, no change. I've installed updated 7265 drivers, no change. I've re-installed everything as an administrator, no change.
I can't find a way to solve this problem. The WIFI on the AC7265 works perfectly but I don't understand why the bluetooth has so many issues.
Please help!

Hello, aclaw4u:
Thank you for letting us know about this, for the configuration you have, it'd be better to get in touch with the manufacturer of the motherboard you have, in order to report the issue to them.

Hello, Peers:
I tried to replicate this with one of our NUCs and the Anniversary update.
The outcome, I was not able to replicate the error message received from your end.
Just want to double check, which are the devices you are trying to connect via Bluetooth?
Additionally, I added the notes taken from the tests performed for you to have a good overview of the scenario we had here.

Hi aclaw4u,
Are you reporting this issue on a Gigabyte* motherboard running a http://ark.intel.com/products/88195/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_20-GHz Intel® Core™ i7-6700K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.20 GHz)?
If yes, this community thread is for a NUC5PPYH. Can you confirm? If yes, have you contacted the motherboard manufacturer?
Thanks,
Ronny G

The next morning, I managed it fix the problem myself, by going into the window to uninstall or modify programs, right clicking on the bluetooth software and clicking repair there. Thanks anyway.
