Does the Bluetooth on the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 Card work in BIOS?

Kind of an obscure question but I am frustrated with using generic Bluetooth dongles that do not work until an operating system loads. Some dongles do however operate in a way that you can use a keyboard or mouse to edit BIOS settings. It would be nice not to have to plug in a wired keyboard just to make a setting change in BIOS.

I'm not sure if there is an accepted name of this feature but http://www.embeddedstar.com/press/content/2003/8/embedded9974.html this document refers to it as "HID Proxy capability." Does anyone know if the Bluetooth module on the 6235 wireless card supports HID proxy mode so that a keyboard or mouse can be used in BIOS?

Please note that the bluetooth integrated in your wifi network adapter will not work in the bios, it does not support any keyboard or mouse without the operating system working.

same problem. We need intel integrates HID proxy mode for BT devices.

Few usb BT dongles in market supports HID proxy mode so it means it can be.

For next generation devices we expecting that feature.
