I am currently running on an ASUS K53SV and am trying to share WiFi with my iPod. I've seen a couple posts already, but none of the suggested fixes have helped with my problem, so I decided to post one myself:
This is regarding the Intel My WiFi Tech; I can create a network via the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adaptor, allowing my devices to connect to it. However, it creates an unidentified network, basically rendering the connection useless as the connected devices do not have access to the internet. Am i missing something or is there seriously something wrong with the adaptor? My iPod has been without internet for quite a while [please do not suggest connecting it to the network my laptop is running on, I lost the password but it's saved on my laptop]. Thanks in advance
