Does anyone know how to overcome a really really annoying issue I have... I have a Dell Latitude E7440 with an Intel AC 7260 wireless card.
The issue I have is that whenever I shut the laptop lid the wireless card disables itself. I have changed device settings for power management not to allow it to be turned off etc.
Windows event logs show that the wireless was disabled by driver. I am running 17.0.3.2

Besides disabling the option for the wireless adapter itself you may also need to modify the settings in Power Options (Control Panel), including the power plan being used.
Additionally, you can create a new package with Administrator Tool in the Intel® PROSet Software and enable PSP CAM in Adapter Settings, Power Management. The Administrator Tool needs to be selected during custom installation of the Intel® PROSet Software. You will need to run the (exe) package on the desired system once it is created.
