I have Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 on my laptop. I am using Lenovo G50-80. My wifi range is very low. I need to keep hotspot device near laptop. Any solution for this? Thanks.
It sounds suspiciously like you have an antenna lead that has either disconnected from the 3160 card or has broken. This can happen in older laptops since the antennas are in the lid and the lid has been opened and closed so much.
