For a long time we equipped Intel boards DN2800MT2 with the Intel AC3160 Wireless-Adapter, when wireless connection was needed. We are using Windows 7/32 Bit. This worked fine and without any problems.
When we put on a new device in the last days, this didn't work any more. The AC 3160 adapter is no longer recognized and the device has a yellow exclamation mark in the device manager.
The only difference between the current image used for the installation and the image previously used for the Installation are the Microsoft updates of July and August.
We tried a lot. Of course we did a "clean installation" with the latest drivers (20.70.0), but whatever we tried, the adapter just dosen't work...
What can we do?

Hello CaipiS,
Thank you for posting your inquiry in this Community.
Intel ®Customer Service no longer responds to telephone, chat, or e-mail inquiries for the DN2800MT2 but you may want to try our /community/tech/discontinued-products Discontinued Products Community to get recommendations from fellow community members. You may also find the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/discontinued-products.html Discontinued Products Website helpful to address your request.
Regarding your Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160, based on the brief description, it might be defective, however as a last step troubleshooting step you can try to reinstall the OS with the previously used image(without the updates) to check if that makes any difference.
If that does not work , the best recommendation is to get in touch with your original place of purchase so you can get your Wireless card replaced.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Diego S.
