My wireless config(/etc/config/wireless):
config 'wifi-device' 'wlan2'
option 'type' 'mac80211'
option 'channel' '6'
config 'wifi-iface'
option 'device' 'wlan2'
option 'network' 'lan'
option 'mode' 'ap'
option 'ssid' 'MyWifiAP'
And I run wifi shell command, get output:
wlan2(mac80211): Interface type not supported
Can somebody tell me why?
My openwrt version: 15.05
Kernel version: 4.4.14
wifi firmware: iwlwifi-7265-ucode-16.242414.0.tgz
Best regards,
SWJ

Hello swj312,
Thank you for your question.
As far as I can tell, you're using the correct driver and firmware to match your kernel version. However, our support for Linux* is limited.
