Intel My Wifi dashboard installed as a Lite version

I far as I know I have a compatible computer for the full version. Here are some screenshots.

As you can see, not the full version, no buttons to do things with WiDi

Here is a list of all my installed Intel software, including PROSet and My WiFi Dashboard

And here is my wireless adapter which I assume to be supported.

I am running windows 8 64 bit, and all of my Intel software is 64 bit.

Hello Zach,

At this time the hotspot feature only works in Windows* 7. We are expecting a new release for Windows* 8; however, there is no ETA at this time.

Another great reason not to bother with Win8 until Intel and others catch up (if ever). Perhaps this is the last version of Windows where users will be expected to put up with this sort of loss of capacity. It entirely defeats the purpose of having a "modern OS". If MS and its partners cannot or will not see how high a priority this is, then this may well and truly be the LAST version of Windows of any sort that will prove to be of very much importance.

PROSet 16.1.1 (exe) and 16.1.3 (zip) have been released in the last month or so. Do either of these support Full Dashboard with hotspot and WiFi Direct in Win8?

What about Win7? With my N-1030 chip I do not get Dashboard in any form, Lite or otherwise, with v16.1.1. Haven't tried 16.1.3, and don't plan to, now that I have figured out how to get v15.2.0 PROSet and Full Dashboard to work.
