Intel MyWiFi Utility /PRO set wireless application.....

Hi,

I have this on my Windows 7 laptop. I have never used it before. I have recently had a clean install on my machine, but decided to see what this is. I now understand the application but I do not seem to have any supported Intel wireless adapter and I have checked in my device manager. Should I install this and if so how?

Thanks,

Leah.

Hello Leah,

You may install Intel® Proset Wireless Connection Utility, Intel® My WiFi Technology or Intel® My WiFi Dashboard only if you have a supported Intel® Wireless adapter.

The following article may guide you to check the adapter model in device manager:

Identify your Intel wireless adapter and driver version number

I haven't got one. Got an Atheros which is unsupported by intel, this works fine, just wondered why I had the application but no compatible adapter!

Thanks for your help.
