I am using UD&SA to upgrade my drivers, both Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC-3165 and Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R), but it gives an error says ''A newer version detected, installion failed'' while Wi-Fi driver version is at 2015. I had to remove 2023 version, thinking it was the problem but it did not solve it. I cant remove the 2015 version. I also downloaded the files to try to install them, but Device Manager doesnt show those when Im trying to update, I am sure it is the right one as it is the suggested one by UD&SA

Hi Asm2,
I understand that you are having difficulty installing the latest driver for your Intel wireless and Bluetooth using the Intel Driver & Support Assistant tool. Please allow me to check what else I could be of help with.
In order for me to assist you with this, I would like to set your expectations by saying that I will be asking you a series of questions to narrow down the recommendations I could provide. If you may, kindly share the following details below:
- Are you using a laptop or a desktop? If a laptop, what is the exact make and model of your system?
- Are you using any VPN, adblocker, or antivirus on your system?
- What internet browser are you using? Is it on the latest version?
Furthermore, I hope that you download and install an Intel tool that will scan your system. Don't worry; there will be no personal information to be collected. To get the tool, please visit this link: Intel® System Support Utility for Windows.
Please run the program, select everything, then scan, click next, save the result log, and upload the text file in your next response.
I will be waiting for your response.

Hi Asm2,
I hope you are doing well.
Upon checking the trend, it appears that there is no movement on this one. With that in mind, I would like to know if you wish to be assisted.
I will be waiting for your response.

IDSA (a) was never intended to support the original installation of driver packages (and thus may not handle this properly), and (b) does not support discontinued products - but you wouldn't actually see any updates anyway, since, once a product is discontinued, there will never be any updated drivers made available. Bottom line, this is an as-expected situation.
