The Intel AC-9260 is spec'd for a Tx Output Power = 10dBm (+/- 2dB) for BR and BLE (Long Range @ 125K).
1) What is the Tx Output Power for BLE @ the 1Mbps? Also what is the Rx sensitivity?
2) What Tx output setting does the AC-9260 firmware default to?
[Note: the firmware on it is using HCI cmds so firmware on it must set it one way or another, or default]?
3) How to change the Tx output power? I tried this and I can't change and it just always show a value of 12? What does 12 mean? 12 dBm or some index?
> sudo hciconfig hci0 inqtpl
hci0: Type: Primary Bus: USB
BD Address: 3C:6A:A7:40:8D:8B ACL MTU: 1021:4 SCO MTU: 96:6
Inquiry transmit power level: 12
I do this to try to set it, e.g. 10. I do get an error and this command does not go thru.
> sudo hciconfig hci0 inqtpl 10
Thanks for your time.
