Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX210 160MHz two persistent warning events 6062 Netwtw12 and 100002 WLAN-CautoConf

Just about managed to clear my windows logs of errors but I have two persistent warnings related to my WiFi card. The drivers I am using are the latest (22.250.1) from the Intel website (doesn't matter which version I choose these errors persist). Searching the internet I see I am definitely not alone.

 

Anyone figured out how to fix these issues?

 

Details:

First Event: 10002 WLAN-AutoConfig WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped.

Module Path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\netwtw6e.inf_amd64_cc3a2460c42c06f6\IntelIHVRouter12.dll

Service randomly stops and restarts

The description for Event ID 6062 from source Netwtw12 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

  1. Is the Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 the pre-installed Wi-Fi card in your system or is it an integration (upgrade/ not the original card)? 
  2. What is the model of your laptop? If it is a Desktop PC, please provide the motherboard model. 
  3. Was it working fine before? 
  4. Can you please attach screenshots showing the errors?

1) Its an addon PCI Wifi/BT card Gigabyte WiFi 6E GC-WBAX210 (2x2 802.11ax/ Tri-Band WiFi/Bluetooth 5.2/ PCIe Expansion Card)- they use the same drivers as the Intel website. Connection in use is 802.11ac (not ax)

2) Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H (Socket M2) motherboard

3) It mostly works fine - just drops and reconnects connection sometimes.

4) The exact errors were cut and pasted from the event viewer in my original post. That's all the details I have - there is nothing to screenshot

Since your wi-fi card was made by Gigabyte, contact your System Manufacturer for further assistance with this addon card.

I have reported this issue to Intel. Currently, I encounter the same problem every day. Without fail, at 12:03 PM every day, it occurs. Following this, I must restart my computer, and reinstall the Intel AX210 driver. This issue occurs on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. I am using a Dell Latitude 5430.

Yes its the drivers.

Intel don't want to help me because the WiFi card I am using is by Gigabyte but the drivers are by Intel so I am not sure what Gigabyte is supposed to do.

The drivers I installed were from 2020 on the Gigabye website but they are 100% Intel ProSet drivers for this chip. There have been two new versions since then and I have tried updated using Windows update and also from the Intel website but all three driver sets throw up the same warnings/errors. The only difference in error messages are the two digit number at the end of the NetwtwXX driver name.

lntel have been aware of this for years (its been posted on these forums and on lots of other forms for the A210 and A211 chipset and for windows 10 and 11.

I have yet to see a solution that works anywhere.

Intel has already assisted me and provided various ways to address the inquiry issues because Intel has accepted the event and generated this result. It seems unrelated to Intel drivers.

The final outcome of Intel's assistance is as follows: "We have found that the issue may be related to some factors that are not within our control, such as network settings, firewall configurations, or third-party software."

So far, this issue has been ongoing for almost three months. I have replaced the WiFi module, but the results remain the same. However, if you or anyone else has a solution, I would greatly appreciate it, as it would save me from having to restart my computer every day at noon and reinstall the drivers.

FWIW I am using Windows 10 with only standard preinstalled MS security software. (I am pretty knowlegeable with troubleshooting as I used to work in IT hardware and software support)

As far as I can see there is no other software controlling or interfering with WiFi access. I have reset the MS firewall settings back to default settings and allowed access to any programs or hardware that need it. I have tried disabling the firewall altogether and it makes no difference.
