When i am using wifi connection, and download, the system has high buffer underruns, the sound is horrible, the cursor is moving strange...

When i am doing the same thing on the Network adapters, everything works fine.

I have the latest drivers for Intel WIerless-N 7260

Test results:

Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other task.

You experience buffer underruns appering as drop outs, clicks or pops.

One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system apper to be executing far too long.

At least one detected problem appears to be network related.

Adapter info:

Hello amzacatalin

Thank you for joining the Intel® community.

Have you tried to complete a clean install of the Wireless Drivers on your system? See the steps below.

You could test the Intel® Wireless-N 7260 latest diver version 20.80.0 (see download link below) or the driver version provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). If possible test both drivers

  2. Click on "Scan" to get the scanned system.
  3. Once the scan is complete click on "next".
  4. Use the "save" option, save the report to your desktop.
  5. To attach a file, you must click the "Attach" option on the bottom right-hand corner of the response box.

Hope this helps.

Hello amzacatalin

Thank you for the information.

Allow me to share with you that this behavior could be related to a hardware problem, if this is the case I recommend contacting the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to troubleshoot the problem.

I have sent you a private message to provide more details on the case, please review your private inbox.

Hope this help.

Best Regards,

Leonardo C.

I really don't agree that this is a hardware problem. I have had the same problem ever since the Spring update. The Fall update of Windows 10 finally broke it and I've switched to a USB antenna which works flawlessly. On the other hand, when I run Ubuntu on the same machine, there is no problem at all with the 7260. Hardware is working perfectly. Microsoft did something that broke it and only they can fix it. If Ubuntu works, Windows should as well. Wouldn't you think?

amzacatalin: I just wanted to check if you received our private message and if you need further assistance on this matter?

btbuz: Thank you very much for sharing those details. That is also a possibility, specially if the problem started right after the Windows update.
