Hello all,
I have installed Ubuntu 22.10 (kernel 5.19) inside Transcend 128GB SSD "Ts128gmte110S" and am using Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 card on two different core i3 Intel NUCs; one with 7th Gen and other with 11th Gen.
I am surprised to see that when I insert WiFi card and SSD in older generation (7th) NUC, It scans 6GHz AP and lists down all 6GHz channels with iw list command from channel#1 (5955MHz) to channel#93 (6415MHz) [regulatory domain is Germany] as enabled indicating "No IR" and rest (97 to 233) disabled. But when I insert the same SSD and WiFi card in the relatively new generation (11th), it does not scan 6GHz AP and lists all 6GHz channels as disabled.
What could be the possible reason that two different generations of Intel NUC are creating this issue and what is the solution if anyone has experienced the same?
Best Regards

Manoo, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
For this scenario, it is important to mention that Ubuntu 22.10 was not tested and validated as an officially supported Operating System by the Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210. Based on that all the drivers that we have available on our official website were designed for Windows*:
In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this scenario, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:
What is the specific model of the Intel® NUCs?
Was the 11th gen Intel® NUC ever able to scan 6GHz AP and lists down all 6GHz channels before?
If yes, when did the issue start?
Just to confirm, did you purchase the wireless card separately or did it come installed on the 11th gen Intel® NUC?
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes that might cause this issue?
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
Please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":
Any questions, please let me know.
Regards,
Albert R.

Hello Manoo, I just received an update on this matter.
After reviewing the case, we can confirm this model comes with an Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201. Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 is not listed as Intel Validated so we can not guarantee compatibility:
https://compatibleproducts.intel.com/ProductDetails?EPMID=205593
Do you have the option to test the Intel® NUC with a different Operating System to check on the driver's end, maybe Windows?:
Or checking with Linux* for the driver for their OS.
What is the complete model of the NUC7? This is for us to be able to check on additional details.
