Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160 MHz Packet loss

Hi Guys,

we are developing the embedded project  , in our application we are using Wi-Fi . we are using TCP client server model . GUI (pc application ) is STA+ client and our device Wi-Fi chip is AP + server.
we are testing our device with different laptops with different drivers(intel  and Qualcom wifi drivers). With in intel driver we are facing more packet loss and with qualcom driver the loss was almost zero.

distance between  client and server :  1m meter

1.With the intel driver  (Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 , driver version : 22.200.2.1) laptop  we are facing the packet loss.  In wire shark I could able to see many TCP retransmission packets.

how to reduce the packet loss?

2. And also I observed due to the packet loss , few times the packet has been completely dropped. so my server is sending "TCP previous packet segment not captured" packet to the client. After this my client is sending the previous packet.  But some times client is not retransmitting the previous packet it went to idle state.

why it is not retransmitting the previous packet ?

Hello karthick5646

Thank you for your understanding.

Following our examination, we need some additional details:

  1. Can you confirm whether it previously functioned or has never worked?
  2. Is the current wireless card the original one, or have there been replacements across various machines?
  3. What method are you using to assess packet loss?
  4. Have you observed this issue on different networks?
  5. How many devices are experiencing the problem?
