Hi there,
I have ASUS PCE-AX58BT which is have Intel Wifi AX200 as the main chip. My router is ASUS RT-AX1800HP and every since I used from August 2023 until now, I experience anomaly.
It's occasionally drop the connection to Wifi 6 5GHz with 20 MHz width.
The latest driver from ASUS is 22.80.0.9, and not helping much.
The latest driver from Intel is 22.250.0, and same not helping too.
The original driver from Windows 10 22H2 is 22.160.0.0, and same not helping either.
As temporary and irritating solution for me is just uninstall the driver from Device Manager, and reinstall it again, it will normal for couple days until dropping again.
I was suspect my router is have problem, but any other device like smartphone is not affected. And my PC position is just 15 feet next to the router. Is this driver bug? is there a fixed for this?
I appreciate if you can suggest me what to do. Thank you.

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I realize how complicated this is for you.
To help you further, I would like to confirm the following:
1. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed on your computer or did you change/install the adapter to this one?
2. Is this a laptop or desktop computer?
3. What is the brand and model name of your laptop or motherboard (if desktop)?
4. Is the Bluetooth working?
5. What is the BIOS version installed?
6. What is the operating system installed as well as the version and build?

Hello netto,
Thanks for your confirmation. Based on your issue and hardware, this issue may be related to compatibility since this adapter did not come preinstall into the motherboard. Bear in mind that the motherboard BIOS and chipset must be compatible and support any component installed you would like to install.
However, you may find the following steps useful:
1. Try the "Recommended Settings for 802.11ax Connectivity" article:
2. Check the "Quick Checks to Improve or Fix Wi-Fi Connection Issues" article:
3. You can get in contact with the motherboard manufacturer for further information:
Also, bear in mind that integrations may present unexpected issues and performance problems, you can find more information in the following link:

Well thank you for replying, but not kind of answer I expected.
If this a compatibility issue, then why don't put minimum hardware requirements on your ark.intel.com?
So in this case, if need to replace my system, then please what is your recommendation in order to make this AX200 working as expected?

Hello netto,
I am sorry for the inconvenience. In this case, these adapters usually are meant for mobile devices (laptops, miniPCs, NUCs, etc), and some companies can take this hardware make some alterations, and sell it as an adapter for desktop computers. In this situation, the vendors (Asus, MSI, HP, Acer, etc) should provide you with compatible units with this new adapter mounted by them.
Bear in mind that the motherboard must support this adapter for it to work as desired, also Intel can provide recommended settings and tips to improve the connection based on the specifications Intel has for the adapter and if it does not work, you must check with Asus or the motherboard manufacturer for further support.
Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel.
