Hi,
Since several days, and perhaps after the last update of my bluetooth driver (last version on Intel site: 23.10.0.2) under windows 11, I have this permanent error : STATUS-DEVICE-POWER-ERROR
And of course my bluetooth is no longer available.
I tried many solutions (uninstall, reinstall, reboot...) without result.
Thank you for helping.
Best regards.

Hi,
Problem fixed: it was originated by a corrupted USB driver.
Message something like "peripheral descriptor request failure" in english (I got it in french).
I fixed that by uninstalling the driver and restarting my computer and that caused the driver to be refreshed.
Thanks to all for helping.
Best

pjgodier, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
We will be more than glad to assist you with this matter.
In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this scenario, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:
Is this a new computer?
Did you make any recent hardware/software changes, besides the Bluetooth driver update, that might cause this problem?
The wireless card, did you purchase it separately or did it come installed on the computer?
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
Please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

Same problem on my NUC8i5BEKPA after bluetooth driver update to version 23.10.0.2 using windows 10 update. Total loss of all bluetooth functions. Had to roll-back entire update (windows restore point) to recover from it.

pjgodier, You are very welcome. Thank you very much for providing the information and the SSU report.
Based on the information shown in the SSU document, we can confirm, as you mentioned, that the Bluetooth driver version currently installed on your computer is 23.10.0.2, which is provided by Intel®.
For this scenario, it is important to mention that we always recommend to install the wireless driver provided by the manufacturer of the computer, since that driver was heavily customized by them to work with your specific platform.
I looked on ASUS website and actually, there are not many drivers available for Windows* 11, only for Windows* 10:
For testing purposes, not sure if you already tested it, please try a clean installation of ASUS driver version 21.50.0.5 following the instructions on the links below:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022173/wireless.html
Driver:
We also recommended to get in contact directly with ASUS Support to make sure the latest BIOS version is currently installed on your machine or, if necessary, to gather the instructions on how to update it:
Once you get the chance, please let us know the results.
SHRvS, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
Please submit your inquiry on a new thread, the reason for this is that every scenario is different even if the same product is being used, so for us to better assist you and in order to try to fix the problem, please submit a new thread:

Alberto_R_Intel, Thank you for your reply. I'm new here and I found this topic in search of similar problems (and maybe solutions) with bluetooth driver version 23.10.0.2.
You are right; I just figured out that my problem has a different root cause. It is most likely related to a specific Microsoft DeviceManagerService issue that is being reported by many other people since a few weeks.
