Hello Max1995,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.

  1. Can you further explain the issue that you encounter? Please provide a detailed explanation.
  2. Did you manually install this AX201 in the system as an upgrade or this is embedded in the system?
  3. What is the brand and model of the system?
  4. Please help generate the SSU logs of your system for me to review the hardware and the installed drivers. Kindly refer to the link below on how to generate the logs:

Hello Max1995,

Thank you for pointing that out.

By the way, this was my last post in that thread before it was closed because I did not get a reply:

Based on SSU, you are already using the latest driver for the wireless controller which is 23.150.0

Let me clarify, may I know where did you get the driver 22.200.0.6 and this is for which device?

Lastly, let me also ask. Are you having issues with driver 23.150.0 for your wireless controller AX201?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Also yes, the problem persists with the latest driver.

Hello Max1995,

Thank you for the clarification.

Let's try to install the latest generic driver using clean driver installation method. Once done, please update me and if you are still having the same issue. Kindly generate a new set of SSU with updated drivers for further investigation. You may also share screenshots of the issue for me to check it in our lab.

Hello Mike, we also tried in another pc (we have this problem in multiple pcs) with the clean installation but nothing change, here the thing, we start from this situation (miracast1.png) then we found that we have this:

47AC.7718::07/18/25-14:18:28.6940813 [server] - --> WimInit

47AC.7718::07/18/25-14:18:28.7005186 [server] - Init: enable soft AP or not: 1

47AC.7718::07/18/25-14:18:28.7005190 [server] - Init: enable WFD or not: 0

47AC.7718::07/18/25-14:18:28.7005218 [vlib] - --> VLibSetVirtualization

47AC.7718::07/18/25-14:18:28.7005222 [vlib] - Asked to program virtualization se

  • On a test device. Please remove the AllowWFD registry key at the Registry path
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WlanSvc\

  • Since we have many devices affected, it is recommended to implement a script or Group Policy to automate the removal of the key.

  • Setting the key to 0 disables Wireless Display (WFD).

  • If the key is present with a value of 1 or 10000000, WFD is considered enabled.

  • The preferred configuration is for the key to be not present. Therefore, deletion is the recommended approach.

  • The presence of this key on the affected systems suggests that it was manually set in the past, as it is not created by default.

This is why im thinking that this driver on the frist installation, also create this key.

thanks

Hello Max1995,

Thank you for the update.

I may have this issue check by our Engineer so please help provide a detailed information below:

  1. How many units are affected?
  2. Are the affected units having the same brand and model? Meaning the SSU that you provided before are the same for the affected units?
  3. Just to clarify, no issue with Wi-Fi connection? The issue is when using Miracast?
  4. If you can also provide a video of the issue, that would help in my simulation.

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hello Mike, so in order:

1. We have different brand vendor with this problem, for example hp 840 G7 or Lenovo T14, but both have same wifi driver

2. Yep, no issue with wifi, just miracast

3. I dont have a video but in this image, you can see the problem, when we press windows key+k, told us that device cannot support miracast connection, but if we remove this key or we change it in 1, works

thanks
