Hello, recently i purchased a Intel ax210 which shall support Wifi 6 standard. I connect to mobo, installed newest drivers and tried to connect 5GHz network (separated from 2.4Ghz) (2.4 Wifi6 works correctly). The connection has been established, but unfortunately there is no connection to the WAN (even my gateway is not pingable)
I checked if this network works on my phone and it does without any issues. Then I change the router and adapter setting to force 802.a mode and such mode works without problem.
My previous adapter intel 9000series (802.11ac works perfect with 5Ghz).
I already tried to install old driver but it still doesn`t work. I click the troubleshooting windows tools and it says that there is no response from DHCP server, so I set IP manually for the adapter, but it doesn`t work as well. Probably windows outcome is some random causes. I tired to restart adapter, restart router etc. Now I have no idea what to do. I uploaded logs from ssu. Please help me I want to use wifi 6

Hello Esh,
Thank you for posting in the Community!
Please share the following details to further troubleshoot this.
- Have you tried using a different PCIe slot or USB port for the WiFi adapter?
- What is the make and model of your router?
- Have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your router?
- Are there any specific settings on your router, such as security protocols or band steering, that could be affecting the connection?

Hello Esh,
I'm glad that the issue was fixed on your end. The installation and use of Intel® Wireless Adapters are regulated by country-specific laws, which may require certification with specific antennas or at the system level to ensure compliance and safety.
- Regulations: Different countries have specific legal requirements for the installation and use of Intel® Wireless Adapters. Some countries require the adapter to be certified with the intended antenna, while others require certification at the full system level. For example, in the US, the rules are covered under FCC parts 15.203, 15.247, and 15.407.
- Approval Needed: Before installing or changing an Intel® Wireless Adapter, contact your system manufacturer to confirm if the adapter is approved for use in your system and country. Unauthorized installation may be illegal and could void warranties.
- Compatibility: Even if you manage to install the adapter, it may not function correctly due to hardware or software compatibility issues. Ensuring compatibility with your system is crucial.
- Intel's Role: Intel provides components like wireless adapters but does not manufacture or sell complete laptop systems. System manufacturers may customize features, software, or hardware, which can affect compatibility and performance.
- Supported Products: Intel supports specific retail wireless adapters for desktop PCs, including:
- Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 + Bluetooth® for Desktop
- Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 Desktop Kit
- Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 9260 Industrial IoT Kit
- Intel® Wi-Fi6 (Gig+) desktop kit
- Intel® Wi-Fi6E AX210 IOT Industrial and Embedded Kit
- These products are intended for desktop PCs with bundled antennas and are not suitable for laptop upgrades.
