I have been having problems with my Intel wireless ac 9560 160MHz Driver version 22.120.0.3 on the HP Envy x360 laptop for about a year now and every so often the driver will not start or encounters an error and shuts me off from connecting to any Network. I am usually able to fix it after a few hours of network resets and enabling/disabling the driver, but I am wondering if it is just an old driver and I should download an update for it. If so, what version of the driver should I download and how do I know which driver would be suitable for my computer or network adapter? Any help would be more than appreciated! I am at a loss for what to do at this point because the driver has been failing much more frequently (3 times in the last 6 weeks).
I have windows 11 and a 64 bit OS. Not sure if that helps

Hello @JackGarr
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.
In order to have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:
SSU: Please download and scan your system using our tool, Intel® System Support Utility so we can help check your system info first. Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan 'Everything', click next, then save the system information to a .txt file. Please provide the .txt file.
This document will be necessary to check your entire system, in order to find possible errors or incompatibilities.
Also, doing some research I found the following: Based on the HP website there are no drivers for Windows 11: Link, HP Products - My operating system is not listed on HP Software and Driver Downloads.
It’s worth mentioning that Intel® provides generic versions of software and drivers. When talking about laptops, the computer manufacturer (OEM) may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes.
For this reason, we recommend the installation of the drivers provided by the manufacturer to avoid any potential impact caused by loading non-customized drivers.
Before proceeding with the proper troubleshooting, we need to know if Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed in your system, or have you changed/installed a new adapter recently?
Best regards,

Hello JackGarr,
We trust you are in good health.
Have you had the opportunity to review the previous post?
Kindly furnish us with the SSU report as requested.
Additionally, I came across some pertinent information during my research. According to the HP website, there are no drivers available for Windows 11, as indicated by this link: HP Products - My operating system is not listed on HP Software and Driver Downloads.
It is noteworthy that Intel® offers generic versions of software and drivers. When dealing with laptops, the computer manufacturer (OEM) may have introduced modifications, customizations, or other alterations. Consequently, it is advisable to install drivers provided by the manufacturer to prevent any potential issues that may arise from using non-customized drivers.
To facilitate our troubleshooting process, we need to ascertain whether the adapter currently in use is the original one that came pre-installed with your system or if you have recently replaced or installed a new adapter.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you require further assistance.
Warm regards,
Isaac Q.
