I´m looking for the latest driver for the Intel dual band wireless-n 7260 for Windows 10 64bit. The official support pages are not available (404). It would be very nice if anyone could tell me a download link. (f.e. url )

As for the 'what' question, there was an incompatibility between the WiFi4/WiFi5 7260 and 3160 adapters with WiFi6+ routers. Intel introduced a fix for this issue in the final driver release provided before support for these adapters was dropped.

Thanks. Being the anxious/impatient guy that I am I downloaded the drivers from Intel, 3 sets - Bluetooth, Wireless, and IT Admin..

I followed your instructions and 'removed the hell' out of everything listed (including using CCCleaner), rebooted an extra time, installed Bluetooth first, then installed the Wireless drivers. I have WiFi for the first time in 3 years!!

My problem was that the wi-fi 6 wasn't showing at all, after the update to 18.33.17.1 everything went fine!  

On my Dell Inspiron 7437 the only way to install was the EXTRACT option and update driver trough Windows Device Manager, select the Wireless Adapter, Properties, Driver and  Search for driver in the extracted folder 

Thats it!

No, I'm sorry, but I can't send them to you. The files are simply too large to be emailed and too large to be uploaded to the Forum. There are many hundreds of people who have successfully accessed and downloaded the files. I am not sure what your issue is, but can look into it if you explain exactly what is going on.

So I figured out the issue I'm not able to save multiple files at once had to select each one and save each one separate so it was my issue which i solved after i sent that, but thank you for the reply and thank you for hosting the files.

hello is there a new driver mine says from 2015 and keeps dropping connection then saying no driver installed

The final driver releases for the 3160, 7260 and 7265-C silicon/cards was released in May of 2019. The package version was 21.10.1. The Wireless driver version was 18.33.17.1. The Bluetooth driver version was 20.100.5.1.

Since these are (long) discontinued silicon/cards, Intel is no longer hosting the driver packages for download. Luckily, I saw the discontinuation coming and saved away the package files in my own archive. Until a better home is found, I have placed this portion of this archive into my OneDrive share. Use this link: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AtacZBU04mo-j-tQ34BdSDv6y1BFsg?e=7gn50T to access the public portion of my archive. There is no driver for Windows 11 for this adapter. Simply put, this adapter was discontinued long before Windows 11 was released and thus drivers never got developed for it. You can try using the Windows 10 driver, but I cannot guarantee that it will install or work. For that driver, use the link to my driver share provided in previous posts.
