I tried to reintall the driver and still no use. It happened recently. Any idea what's the problem? I'm using Windows 7 x64 and installed the correct version of the driver from the laptop's support section.

Thank you for sharing your inquiry with us.
I believe we will need more information about your system; I do not see mine showing Bluetooth Auxiliary or Bluetooth Virtual Devices categories. Can you comment on the wireless adapter model? Is the issue still present after removing the Bluetooth device(s) profile(s)?
You may want to take a look to these articles related to code 10:

By the way, nice computer name.

What kind of info?
I can see the Bluetooth Auxiliary section selecting to view the hidden drivers. I have no problem with the Newtwork Adapters and can't see any "Intel"driver there.
And thanks!

I can now see Bluetooth Server and many other items underneath Bluetooth Auxiliary.
So, I assume the steps provided in the articles above made no difference. What is the wireless adapter model listed underneath the Network adapters category?

The screenshot shows the wireless adapter is from Qualcomm Atheros* and therefore you should not be using the Intel® driver for Bluetooth*. I recommend uninstalling the Bluetooth* drivers you are currently using and install only the driver provided by the system manufacturer for the specific adapter you have installed.

The driver is listed as a driver for Lenovo G500 laptop, which is mine.
Before the latest update, I didn't have any problem regarding this driver.

Lenovo* listed two different Bluetooth* drivers for this system model and Windows* 7 but only one of them applies to your computer because this depends on the wireless adapter model installed by the manufacturer.
Intel® Proset Software for Bluetooth should only be installed when an Intel® wireless adapter is installed.
I recommend you to verify with the system manufacturer since the specifications may vary.
