Just to be sure I understand, are you,

  1. Trying to connect your phone to the internet using hotspot provided by your system?
  2. Trying to connect your system to the internet using hotspot provided by your phone?

Possibilities that come to mind,

  1. The 5GHz antenna lead is not properly connected to (has come off) the AX201.
  2. Before the last power down, a driver update was installed and is misconfigured.
  3. The AX201 has failed and needs replacing.

I'm trying to connect to the internet from windows 11 pro by WIFI connectivity. My WIFI connection was from my smartphone with 5 GHz band also with WPA2/WPA3.

  1. The 5GHz antenna lead is not properly connected to (has come off) the AX201.
[ I don't know how to verify this beside opening my whole laptop case, but first If the antenna was really not properly connected, is that still possible to connect with 2.4 GHz band?, cause in my case I still can connect with 2.4 GHz band but not with 5 GHz]
  2. Before the last power down, a driver update was installed and is misconfigured.
[I had already re-install the driver with the latest update and also with the clean install, but still cannot solve it]
  3. The AX201 has failed and needs replacing.
[I also had buy the new one from market place, and replace it, but the problem is still on there not solved]

Thanks for the response, I really appreciate it, but still it didn't solve my problem yet

If 5GHz antenna is disconnected/broken, yes, you should still be able to connect using 2.4GHz (and also use Bluetooth, which uses 2.4GHz as well).

Since it is unlikely to be a hardware failure, you need to look at these possibilities,

  1. There may be settings in the BIOS that disable the AX201.
  2. Did your clean install include disconnecting the machine from the Internet or temporarily disabling Windows Update (so it doesn't interfere with the process)?
  3. There is also the possibility that there is an issue in the latest driver release that is posted. You could try doing a clean install of a previous version. From the downloads page (here), you can click on the version box and choose to download a previous versions of the driver package. Note: If this fixes it, make sure you let us know.

Hope this helps,

    I'll try check it ]

it is required for clean install to be disconnected from internet? well in my first attempt for clean install was still in connected state , I will try for the the disconnecting version also temporarily disabling Windows Update ]

alright, I would try to clean install all of previous version from the bottom also from the laptop brand until the latest driver from the intel, of course it would take a lot of time also, but if there is a fixes or improvement, I would love to inform in this post ]

Alright, thanks a lot for the time and the response,
I'll try to check if my antenna was disconnected/broken first but it would take a time cause of some work need to be done.

Either disconnect from the Internet or disable Windows Update, you don't need to do both.
