Problem Code 38

I’m trying to restore internet access to my ASUS laptop and have tried everything. During one such effort, I got a Problem Code 38 for one of the Intel installations; I don’t recall which one. This is low on details, but can anyone advise me about what to do? Thanks.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.


  1. What is the model of your wireless controller?
  2. When did you start having this issue?
  3. What was the last change made in the system before the issue started?
  4. Can you provide screenshot of the device manager if the wireless controller has an error code?
  5. For me to review the hardware and the driver installed, please help generate the SSU logs. Please refer to the link below for the steps:
