Hi,
I've recently moved to windows 8 and am now having issues with the intel bluetooth software/driver installations. After various installs and uninstalls I am now receiving an error when trying to install the proset/wireless for bluetooth BT_2.6.1210.e64 that says:
Not sure what to do now. Here is some of my comp info:
Samsung Series 7
Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230
Intel HD Graphics 3000
I already have installed installed the Intel Proset/Wireless Wifi Software
Please let me know if i need to provide any additional info to help understand/resolve the issue.

Thank you for your post.
To delete files or programs that you have problems deleting you would use a cleanup utility from Microsoft*:

NOTE: This link is being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.
After deleting install the software again, (you might need to install the software twice, without uninstalling as described here:

I am having similar problem.
I can not update to Win 8 because this driver is not compatabile with WIn 8 and it is requiring that i delete the app but can not delete the app.
Is this a win 8 problem? How do i resolve?
