247, Thank you very much for providing that information.

Even though you mentioned that you already test the driver from the official website, for testing purposes, try a clean installation of our latest wireless driver version 22.200.0.6 following the instructions in the links below:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351/windows-10-and-windows-11-wi-fi-drivers-for-intel-wireless-adapters.html?wapkw=ax210

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022173/wireless.html

And also do the same with the Intel® Bluetooth driver version 22.200.0.2:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18649/intel-wireless-bluetooth-for-windows-10-and-windows-11.html?wapkw=ax210

We also recommend to get in contact directly with ASUS Support to make sure the BIOS is up to date or to gather the instructions on how to update it:

https://www.asus.com/support/

If the problem persists after that, then please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

It is necessary to let you know that when you install the wireless card on a laptop that is what we called "Wireless Integration", and the thing about that process is that there are a lot of components that come into play, like for example: board, wireless card, drivers, PCI adapters, antennas and ports, all those parts need to be fully compatible for the proper functionality of the Wireless connection. There is also regulatory information about the "Wireless Integration" that you can verify in the following links:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005687/network-and-i-o/wireless.html

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005846/network-and-i-o/wireless.html

Now, if when you say that it is an engineering sample, you are referring to the wireless card, then it is expected to have all kinds of inconsistencies in its functionality since those types of cards were designed for testing purposes, they were not meant to be utilized on any type of computer platform.

247, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In this scenario, it is important to mention that, it is always recommended to install the wireless driver provided by the manufacturer of the computer, since that driver was customized by them to work with your specific platform.

In order for us to provide the most accurate assistance on this matter, we just wanted to confirm a few details about your system:

What is the model of the motherboard?

If this is a laptop, what is the model of it?

The wireless card, did you purchase it separately or did it come installed on the computer?

Is there any problem with your wireless connection?

Which Windows* version are you using?

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Albert R.

It may not be a driver problem, I have reinstalled the driver. At present, the device is normal but cannot search wifi signal, which may be the reason that it is an engineering sample. Thank you.

247, You are very welcome, thank you very much for your response.

We are sorry to hear that the problem of not being able to search wifi signal persists after reinstalling the driver.

And yes, this issue can be very well related to the fact that the wireless card is an engineering sample, For that reason, we recommend to get in contact directly with the place of purchase either for a refund or for them to replace it for a proper model.
