Request for Information on Upcoming AX210 Driver Update for UNII-4 Support

I am reaching out to inquire about the availability of a future driver update for the AX210 wireless module. Specifically, I am interested in knowing if Intel has any plans to release a driver that will enable UNII-4 support, thereby granting access to the 5.9 GHz band.

In our current setup, we have encountered limitations in accessing the 5.9 GHz frequency range using the AX210 module. To overcome this issue, we understand that UNII-4 compatibility is required. Therefore, I am seeking information regarding Intel's roadmap for releasing a new driver that will incorporate UNII-4 support for the AX210 module.

As this feature is crucial for our specific requirements, any insights or updates on the progress of the driver development and its anticipated release date would be highly appreciated.

You've come to the wrong place. The Intel Customer Support agents are not permitted to speculate on future products, product features or release schedules. All they can do is escalate your concern regarding the need for UNII-4 Compatibility. In doing so, there is no guarantee that there will be any response that they can provide to you.

Thanks for your patience. I would like to let you know that our drivers are compliant with local regulations for each country in terms of radio band support our drivers are developed to adhere to those regulations.


Some manufacturers have their own configuration to support 5.9GHz Wi-Fi but that is not managed by Intel wireless adapters nor specific band spectrum but ISPs (Internet Service Providers), I recommend you to check with your ISP for further information.
