Hello,
This message includes two topics. The first is a problem, and the second is an enhancement request to make reporting problems easier for the customer.
Problem with Intel Driver and Support Assistant:
Today, for the first time, the Intel Driver and Support Assistant is showing a problem. It wants to install the same driver (Intel Network Adapter Driver for Windows 10). After installing it successfully, the Support Assistant wants to install it repeatedly.
Request for enhancement to the Intel Driver and Support Assistant:
With this message, I would like to include the Intel Driver and Support Assistant history. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to accomplish this feat. I went to the FAQ and Support page and searched on the word history with zero returns. My request is simple. Please add a method to allow a customer to
- Share the Intel Network Adapter Driver for Windows 10 History in this support forum.
- Edit out of this history information.
- Update the FAQ and Support to include this information.
I tried several methods, including copy and paste, but they did not work properly. In the case of copy and paste, it captured the entire webpage table and not just the history.
Thank you for your time.

@BertramMoshier I am the project manager for Intel® DSA. Our team is aware of the issues with the Network Adapter driver and we are working on a fix.
Regarding providing 'history' for the driver, you can zip all the Intel® DSA log files and attach them to this thread (using the instructions at this IDSA article.) Once you provide your logs, our developers will review them to help determine why the driver is offering same update in a loop.
The Intel® DSA FAQ has a link in the "Troubleshooting" section called "Where can I report issues with Intel® DSA?" which also has instructions to locate the folders, zip and provide. Neither of the articles uses the keyword 'history' so I will look into adding that for searchability.
Thank you,
Monique with Intel Corporation

@BertramMoshier Our team has updated the necessary detection metadata for IDSA to function correctly for this download. If you could try running IDSA and choose the "Refresh Results" on the left-hand IDSA menu, please let us know if the correct version is offered and installs without issue.
Thank you for your patience while we fixed this.

Thank you for the update.
The Intel Driver and Support Assistant is no longer trying to reinstall the same update. I finally am getting "all drivers to date."
