I have been using a Dell laptop with an I5, Intel centrino wireless, and a Belkin adapter at the TV with little or no problems for two months. I was considering upgrading my desktop with a new Intel motherboard, and an I5. If I used a miniPCIe to PCIe adpaters to install one of the Intel Centrino wireless cards would the desktop work, just as my laptop works for WIDI? I am assuming all of the same WIDI SW and drivers will be installed on the desktop.
