I am currently using an AX200 module on a sniffer testhead (Ubuntu 18) for diagnostic tests, and am unsure of the wireless card's timestamping capabilities and sequence.
Specifically, any insight into the following problems would be very helpful:
-how are frames timestamped on the card, and how do I retrieve/access these timestamps?
-is there an internal clock being used for timestamping, or is the timing data derived from the system/kernel clock?
-which data layer is the frame being stamped at?
-How do i make use of the WiFi-Alliance (WFA) TimeSync Functionality?
