Why doesn't my Intel BE200 support Wi-Fi 7 in Linux?

May I ask why my Intel BE200 doesn't support Wi-Fi 7 in the Linux environment? My Linux kernel version is 6.14.0. The regulatory information is as follows, and please see the attachment for the ssu.sh check results. Could you please help me take a look? I urgently need to use Wi-Fi 7 in my Linux system.

Hello ningl,

Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.

It appears that you're having issues connecting to Wi-Fi 7, and I understand how important this is to you. To address the issue effectively, kindly share the information below.

1. Was this working fine before?

2. Are you able to utilize Wi-Fi 7 with Windows environment?

3. Is this the original adapter that came pre-installed in your system, or have you changed/installed a new adapter recently?

4. Is this a laptop or desktop system?

5. What troubleshooting steps have you performed so far?

I look forward to your response.

Best regards

Hello ningl,

Thank you for sharing all this information. Let me just clear this out, is the BE200 pre-installed on the system or was this installed recently?

Additionally, please try to install the latest Kernel version 6.16 at The Linux Kernel Archives and the latest firmware at Firmware git tree.

Firmware versions:

- iwlwifi-gl-c0-fm-c0-1001

- iwlwifi-gl-c0-fm-c0.pnvm

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Best regards

Hello ningl,

Kindly try the latest Kernel and Firmware from the link that I shared previously and if the issue continuous to persist, kindly contact OS manufacturer for further assistance.

Also, we have not heard back from you so I will close this inquiry now. If you need further assistance, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
