Hi all,
Purchased a new device with a AX210 installed as part of the new fibre installation upgrade.
The AP I am using is a Unifi 6 Enterprise.
I am sitting below the modem with a -44dBm signal on 6GHz yet the link speed is only 287mbps.
Wifi 5 is 1.2gbps....
I have tried updating drivers and even installing chip in another Windows 11 PC but still have the same issues.
Anyone else in the same boat?

Hello, @Kiwikezza
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
You can try the following basic steps:
- Reset the Network settings.
- Check the Recommended Settings for 802.11ax Connectivity.
- Perform a Clean Installation of Wireless Drivers, using the latest wireless driver. It is recommended to use your System Manufacturer's driver as they might have made customizations in your system, including software.
If the issue persists, please be aware that Intel does not support wireless integrations/upgrades (installing a different wireless adapter into your system/laptop). We recommend you speak to the Manufacturer of your equipment for support on wireless integrations and replacement parts to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements of your country and support. It is important to check for compatibility with the System Manufacturer, as there could be certain cards that will not work with the system.
For more information, read the following article under the title "Regulatory Information Regarding Wireless Hardware Installation or Upgrade."
Please, keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Jocelyn M.
Intel Customer Support Technician.
