Hello Eliot_C,

Thank you so much for patiently waiting on my response.

In order for me to provide you the appropriate information for your query, please provide the following information below:

  • Is your PC self-integrated or preinstalled?
  • What is the make and model of your router?
  • In order for me to check your advanced settings using PowerShell, please follow the steps below:
  1. Type in Windows PowerShell in your Windows search bar; right-click, then choose run as administrator.
  2. Once you are already inside the PowerShell, please type this command: Get-NetAdapterAdvancedProperty | Where-Object -Property Name -Contains 'Wi-Fi' | Format-Table OR Get-NetAdapterAdvancedProperty -Name "Wi-Fi" | Format-Table

Remark: Wireless adapter advanced settings list. *Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, 6E and Wi-Fi 7. Note: for some systems WLAN instead of Wi-Fi is applicable.

      3. Please share with me the screenshot.

Hello Eliot_C,

Thank you so much for your cooperation.

After reviewing your response, I couldn't find your SSU logs.

Is it possible that you can also share it with me? since your SSU contains your system specifications and configurations that will greatly help with the investigation.

Furthermore, is it okay if you copy and paste the output from the PowerShell? As I can only understand the English language and am unable to double-check the output on the PowerShell.

And by the way, is your PC self-integrated or preinstalled? And what is the make and model of your router?

Best regards,

Carmona A.

Hello Eliot_C,

Thank you so much for the response and for your cooperation.

This will be the last information that I am going to ask you for before I deeply investigate our issue:

I already shared my laptop model name : Lenovo Thinkpad P1 Gen7

And WiFi card is preinstalled one.

Please, help to check my initial question.

My question is just whether Intel has any plan to support MLO.

Thanks,

Eliot

Hello Eliot_C,

Thank you and apologize for any confusion earlier. Regarding your initial question about Intel’s plans to support MLO (Multi-Link Operation), I don’t have specific details about upcoming support or plans at the moment.

I’ve read your initial questions, but I didn’t catch the exact make and model of your router, as some of the text is in Korean. Could you please share the exact make and model of your router so I can proceed with further checking?

Hello Eliot_C,

Thank you for confirming your laptop model (Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen7) and that you're using the preinstalled WiFi card. To proceed with further troubleshooting, could you please share the exact make and model of your router? This information will help me investigate the issue more effectively. I noticed that the model you mentioned above is the laptop model name not the router.

Looking forward to your response.

Sorry for my late response.

Here is TPlink model #. BE805

I already verified that other STA model MLO is working well with the router.

Thanks,

Eliot

Hello Eliot_C,

Thank you for your patience. Upon reviewing your Intel SSU reports, I noticed that your current OS, Windows 11 Pro Build 22631, does not meet the Wi-Fi 7 features. These features are available starting with Windows 11 version 24H2. At this time, I highly recommend checking with your OEM hardware provider.

Also, please be guided that I will close this inquiry now. If you need further assistance, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Best regards,

Hello,

So Intel SDK already support WIFI7 MLO feature.

But it depends on OEM as they need to mitigate it into their product.

I see.

Thanks for your help. will check with the OEM.
