WiFi 7 BE200 Installation issues

Hello,

I just upgraded my Intell Killer1550i wifi adaptor with Intel BE200 and unfortunately, it can not be detected by my laptop Gygabite Aero 15x9. Strangely the Bluetooth is working fine, but the wifi is not showing at all. I've tried resetting the BIOS and installing all the latest drivers with no luck. I was wondering if Killer Intelligence Center can somehow interfere or affect all that. If anyone has any ideas, please share your thoughts.

I have no solution for you, but can tell you that there are other people with the same complaint and the exact same symptoms. The Bluetooth portion of the card is accessed via USB, so that's why it can be seen while the Wireless portion cannot. As for Wireless, I have seen two theories proposed:

1. The M.2 socket - which is designed for CNVio cards - is preventing the BE200 - which is a non-CNVio card - from working.
2. The laptop's BIOS is disabling the card either because it is non-CNVio or simply because it is not in their list of supported cards.

Same problem here on an HP ZBook Fury 16 G10.    I've RMA'd the be200 several times but no joy. I guess this third one is going back.  Pity.CPU is 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13850HX

Extremely frustrating.

We've got some new laptops with 15th gen intel chips in, but those are completely unappealing due to the on-chip RAM and lack of memory expansion capability.  They just aren't suitable for power users or developers.  Maybe intel will come out with a 16th gen chip that also works with wifi 7?   A man can dream..

So it seems that most people will need BE201 (not sure what BE401 is about).  Unfortunately, the only thing available for sale in the US is BE200.  Even from reputable intel resellers like Mouser (although I did put a couple on backorder with mouser in case they ever get some).  I found someone in Italy who claims to be selling BE201 and ordered a few from them.   Fingers crossed.

Yea, the CNVi modules are supposed to be delivered as part of an integrated system and typically are not sold separately.
I'll watch for them...
