It worked but maybe a month or so later it does not work. I really do not wanted to go through the process again every month or so. Do I need to just by an adapter to plug into it?

To get a better understanding of the issue and be able to provide an appropriate fix, kindly share the missing key below:
1) Is the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 pre-installed on your system device or an upgrade component?
2) Please provide a short description of the actual issue.
3) Since you mentioned that it has previously worked, what changes has been made before the issue re-occurred?
4) Share your system configuration so I can further check the root cause of the issue. This could be possible by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.
- Scan: Check the box Everything.
- Click Scan.
- Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
- Click Save (.txt). *Attach the log file as you reply.
