Hello. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with upgrading my old laptop's wifi card with something faster. It's an HP Notebook 15 bs028ca with the 832A board. Current card is the AC 3168. My understanding of all this is limited, but from what I saw, the AC 7265 is a possible replacement. Is that the card to go with or should it be something else? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

You will need to contact HP regarding any wifi integration and possible new card.

Presuming that there are no issues from the HP side regarding integration, the better choice is to upgrade to the AX210. This offers you with Wireless-AX, WiFi 6e (6GHz band support) and Bluetooth 5.3.
Hope this helps,

I just finished up speaking with them and it looks like I'm good to go ahead with the upgrade. I'll go with the AX210. Do you recommend any specific drivers or will the latest be ok?

You want the latest. They just released a new release that supposedly addresses a whole bunch of the outstanding issues.

I installed the card and it's working well, seeing some improvements already. Thanks to the both of you for your help.
